Christians often give advice for marriages established on the self same thing. The fact is that marriages require to be seasoned by the wisdom in the scripture. You will discover no better Christian marriage advice than in that writen word. Each writen word has something to do with marriage.

Your purpose for seeking a Christian marriage counselor is to not only keep your marriage together but to bring you and your spouse closer to God. The obvious place to find counselors is at your church. This is especially good because they probably already know your spouse and your family very well. But they may not know the problems you are having and you may want to keep your privacy during this difficult time. There are some wonderful Christian counselors online that can give you the same help as your church but keep your anonymity.

You know it's unfortunate that the subject of separation, and possible divorce has to come up in a Christian marriage. Considering the fact that we married Christians should be setting a great example for everyone else. It is sad, but true, that the Heavenly Father has made provisions in the Bible for divorce. The stipulation is for just cause. Which is immorality. The Word says that for any other reason we would be committing adultery. This suggests, that someone would have gone astray from Gods' will. If you are Christians then it very well may be that you need to get advice on marriage from fellow Christians. They will understand the dynamics of a Christian marriage, and be better able to advise you.

If you are going to have a good marriage as Christians you must be on one accord. I am not saying that we don't have disagreements, but we must disagree in love. Now, about what I said earlier, about one of you, or both of you having backslid, that can mess your relationship up. Other than that divorce should not be in your vocabulary. Whatever the reason, it is extremely important that you seek a counselor to help you save the marriage.

While other advisors might say that believing love never fails is a lofty idea I say it is fact. It is we who fail to take the marriage advice from our God the Father. That means we fail. But if we in truth love our other half the way we should then we ought see a happy home.

Christian marriage advice means stating no to ourselves and stating yes to God. How tremendous is it to love one some other in that way? No other marriage advice could help you have a lasting marriage like this.

Marriages are work, there is no easy way around it. It takes time and effort to keep a marriage at a high level, and some couples don't want to make any personal sacrifice. A Christian marriage is no different, but the difference comes when we lean on Christ for our support. If couples can see "Christ" as their "North Star" or guiding compass so to speak, then choices in the relationship will come from love and respect versus an "all about me" attitude.
